Meet Dr. Carolina Praderio

Dr. Carolina Praderio is a board certified OBGYN practicing Gynecology in Corpus Christi.  She is a native of Argentina and has lived in the US since her early childhood. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and is proud to have had the opportunity to provide care for community of Nueces County over the past ten years.

 Dr. Praderio received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX and continued on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Six years ago she made the decision to stop doing obstetrics and focus primarily on the Gynecological needs of women.  She has taken a special interest in menopause, hormonal therapy and women’s sexual health.

She prides herself in taking a more personal approach with her patients.  Dr. Praderio recognizes that, at times, the needs of her patients require them to feel comfortable talking about topics that are difficult to discuss without that personal doctor-patient relationship.  This sets her aside from others in her field and provides a safe place for her patients to describe what they are facing. Her expertise and warm bedside manner help her patients feel comfortable and confident in their health, from routine annual visits to complex treatment plans.

She prides herself on empowering and educating women to take control of their health and live their best lives – at any age. In addition, her staff strives to make your visit as comfortable as possible, helping you to get every answer you need.

When she’s not in the office caring for patients, Dr Praderio loves spending time with her husband, 7 -year-old son and her 14-month-old daughter.

I have been going to Dr. Praderio since the summer of 2017, when she changed my life for the first time. I can’t stress enough how great Dr. Praderio and her entire staff is. I originally went to balance my hormones with pellets. That has been worth every cent, not covered by insurance but reasonably priced. Then I mentioned I needed to lose weight and she introduced me to her weight loss program. I have lost 33 lbs. It was slow,, but they were so motivating and the entire team has consistently provided me support and they really care. I love them. Highly recommend her to any women, oh and hormone pellets for men too…my husband sees her too. Thank you for treating me as though I am special.

First Of all, I absolutely love Dr. Carolina Praderio! In 2019 I went in to see her about my problems a with menopause and I started the hormone therapy. Last year, 2020 I mentioned to her that I was having so many problems losing weight. She introduced me to Natalia who has been a constant inspiration for me to learn to eat right and not give up when I did not have a good week. This whole office , from staff to Dr P. are so supportive. I highly recommend visiting this office, I guarantee you will keep going back!

Dr. Praderio is by far one of gyn’s the best in town. She is very understanding and explains everything with great detail. Never have I had a bad experience at her office. Honestly All of her office staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would greatly recommend her to anyone especially girls that are my age. It take a lot of courage being a teenager and understanding the importance of a check up. She is very compassionate.

“Dr. Praderio is…the best OB-GYN MD I have ever seen. Some of you may think this is an exaggeration, but please allow me to give you some background. I have gone through hundreds of exams with pursuing fertility when I finally had to face the reality that at 34, my ovaries completely failed me and I literally had no eggs left. In the subsequent 8 years, I have been on HRT and seen numerous OB-GYNS as we have moved annually due to my husband’s work. Dr. Praderio stands out for her compassion, empathy, warmth, and collaborative approach. You can tell she is passionate about the oath she took to help and serve. I should also mention that I am a provider myself, so the bar is set pretty high! Her office staff matched her warmth and professionalism.
